Over the summer I had the chance to taste test Enjoy Life Foods’ new Decadent Soft Baked Bars. These bars are a step above Enjoy Life’s other bars–they have a drizzle of frosting on top. My boys and I enjoyed the bars…a lot. Our favorites were the Chocolate Sunbutter and the Cherry Cobbler. Enjoy Life Foods’ Decadent Soft Baked Bars also come in Cinnamon Bun and S’mores. What’s so great about these bars? They’re free of the top 8 food allergens AND they taste good. Many of us with food allergies stay away from prepackaged foods, but there are times when you want something to throw in the backpack or take to church for snack time. Plus, the packaging is brightly colored, tempting your young picky eaters.

I wish two things about Enjoy Life Food’s Decadent Bars:

1. I wish their regular price was lower. Many special needs families/food allergy families are already on a tight grocery budget.

2. I wish they were a bit bigger. But, then the price would have to go up.

My absolute favorite Enjoy Life Foods products are still their chocolate chips and their Crunchy Cookies. I bought a package of their sugar cookies to make a pie crust for Thanksgiving. I crushed them in the food processor, added 3 tablespoons of butter, and pushed them into a pie plate. It worked great!
