Today I’m going to share some ideas of what you can do with marshmallows–cheap, easy fun to help over the summer! For those of us whose children have sensory-seeking or sensory-avoidance, marshmallows offer a sensory exercise. Working with mini marshmallows helps fine motor skills. >I came across a couple of things to share. My mom just passed on to me the March 2010 issue of Parenting Magazine the Early Years. There is an article about vacations which includes a couple of helpful websites. If you want to find childrens museums around the country, go here. In Philadelphia there is actually a museum named the Please Touch Museum! Wish it was closer. If you’d rather visit a farm, click here. There is still a little bit of time left to check out some really neat places!
Now for the funny part. After commenting on a study that said kids who eat sugary treats each day are prone to violence, the editor said, “We’re waiting for a study that shows men who leave their socks next to the hamper instead of in it have wives who are prone to violence.” I can see you all smiling.
